nation's discerning beer drinker. An iconic beer, Abbot is
brewed for longer in a traditional way in order to achieve
its world famous distinctive taste.

but the way it is treated along every step of its

brewery to the cask and beyond.
The result (a pint of perfect beer) is due to the care,
dedication and craftsmanship of everyone who works on
Abbot Ale. Quality is the benchmark.

Greene King IPA
(3.6% ABV) is a great tasting beer, characterised by its
fresh, hoppy taste and clean, bitter finish.
Despite the
simplicity of the ingredients – barley, water, yeast and
hops – it's in the creation of the recipe that the skill
of the master brewer lies. And here's the real secret of
our success. We can turn those basic ingredients into some
of the best cask ales available today – each with its own
individual flavour, aroma, colour and characteristics.
This
award-winning beer's hoppy taste and aroma comes from two
varieties of English hops, which are combined with pale
and crystal malts.
Greene King IPA
is a great beer to enjoy particularly with certain foods
such as curry, Mexican and other spicy food. But it's
equally enjoyable on it's own.

In
the glass, Old Speckled Hen sparkles like rich, golden
amber intermingled with warming red tones. The aroma
of Old Speckled Hen is particularly distinctive - very
fruity but with rich, malty undertones.
It has a
wonderful, warm flavour bursting with body. Malt
loaf and toffee flavours combine with a bitterness on the
back of the tongue to give a beautiful, balance sweetness
without being cloying.
The finish is perfect - dry and satisfying. Go on,
indulge yourself!

Ruddles
County is an all-occasion beer, perfect as a pint after
the rugby game or a night out at the pub with family and
friends. It is also one of the most popular selling
premium ales at the supermarket – so don’t forget to add
it to your shopping list next time. It is, after all, a
beer from the Real World, so any time that’s good for you
is a good time to drink Ruddles County
Ruddles County is famed for its dry, bitter flavour, which
comes from using the rare Bramling Cross hops. Many liken
the flavour to burnt toffee and caramel which, when
combined with the dry bitterness, gives a very pleasing
taste. It really is the ultimate bitter-lovers' bitter.
Ruddles County has a light, inviting aroma of soft fruits
and hops, and is a deep brown colour with warm, reddish
tones.

Our ale portfolio is arguably the most comprehensive available
from a single brewer. Here are just a few of the other
beers that make up that portfolio:
Strong Suffolk Vintage Ale
Strong Suffolk Vintage Ale is unique and unrivalled in this
country. It's a blend of two ales: Old 5X , which is brewed to
the maximum strength possible (around 12% abv) and left to
mature in 100-barrel oak vats for a minimum of two years, and
BPA, a dark, full-bodied freshly brewed beer which is added
just before bottling. The result is a unique beer – strong (6%
abv), dark, fruity, oaky and very, very special!
Hen's Tooth
There's only one description for Hen's Tooth – the nearest
thing to real ale in a bottle.
Its balanced blend of strong, rich
flavours (6.5% abv) leads to a satisfyingly smooth, clean
finish. The active yeast in the bottle continues to condition
and mature the ale through its life, producing not only the
wonderful flavours but also a smooth, foamy head.
Greene King XX Mild
Greene King XX Mild is a fine, dark, mild ale with a
distinctive taste (3% abv) and delicate aroma. It draws its
characteristics from a special blend of black and crystal
malts to give a burnt, roasted flavour while the delicate hint
of hops in the nose comes from the Northdown variety. |
